THE “WINTER SWEATER” PROGRAM
Sponsor a sweater manufactured by those with special needs in Lebanon
to warm a needy person any where in the world.
Since 1992 this program has integrated the handicapped, into the workforce of a sweater factory in Broummana center(20 Km. E. Beirut). They produce 1200 woolen sweaters per month and are capable of doubling the production when necessary.
We do not sell these sweaters. Instead, we fund- raise to find sponsors to donate
$15 USD per sweater if they desire to warm a needy person
in Lebanon. Furthermore, a sponsor can warm needy persons anywhere in the world for only $20 USD per sweater.
How The Sweater You Sponsor Reaches A Needy Person Anywhere :
In Lebanon : 69 welfare centers throughout all the districts in Lebanon
are responsible for 16461orphans, 2749 old-aged,1674 handicapped and150 juvenile delinquents, all of which need
warm clothes.
***In the winters of
1999 & 1998 “Kanzat Al-Shitaa” warmed Lebanese detainees in Israel prison in Khiyam of South Lebanon.
For only 25000LL or its equivalent in any foreign currency you can warm a needy person In Lebanon.

Anywhere In The World : For only $20 USD or its equivalent you can sponsor a sweater to warm those in need anywhere in the world. Most importantly, these sweaters are manufactured by the handicapped of Lebanon.
We will send the sweater on your behalf to warm a needy person through one of the following reputable organizations:

choose to warm the needy person in. We will confirm to you the receival of the sweater .
